What do I need to do or take to become part of the media?

I had an epiphany today I realized what I TRULY want to do in life. I want to write for a magazine or something like that, On music I would love to get press passes for concerts and then write about them, interview the bands, take some pictures I have no idea where to start I just know that that would be my dream job!
