HAS THE ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS EVER HEARD OFF RELIEF-CANALS?
we have had and are still having flood damage from the rivers in the midwest costing billions of dollars in damage well over 12 billion so far and thousands of homes and buildings. If one relief canal or more had been built from north of St Louis Missouri at a point south of where the Missouri River enters the Mississippi from that point down to interstate hi-way 44 continue west through Oklahoma w/relief outlets in drought areas to Wichita Falls TEXAS to Abilene to where ever needed in west Texas, this would end flood damages ,wild fires provide trillions in benefits. jobs to thousands of unemployed and billions in flood costs. the cost to build would be a small fraction of the flood damage cost up todate
