Nervous about Social Life at Ole Miss (U of Mississippi)?

I'm really nervous to start Ole Miss in the fall because I've heard that the school is divided by ethnciity which is something new to me since I'm from Florida. I'm not Caucasian or african american which is the majority of the school, I'm mixed which portuguese and african but people often think I'm hispanic or brazilian. How are the mixed students treated at Ole Miss? For me, I love being surronded by people of all different backgrounds.
